Redondo Beach’s Most Fun After-School Dance Class! (Washington Elementary)

If you’ve ever wondered what our dance days look like at Washington Elementary, here’s a little sneak peek! Trust us, it was full of fun, energy, and adorable chaos in the best way possible!
Our K–5th graders have been working hard in our after-school dance program here in Redondo Beach, and this day gave everyone a chance to see just how much they’ve learned (and how much fun they’ve been having!)
Before the funky Show: Practice Time! 🎶
The kids started the day with one last run-through before the big show moment. You could feel the excitement in the air as they practiced their moves, laughed with each other, and got a little wild! We had a whole backstage vibe happening taping down spots, finding their places, and making sure everyone was ready.
Miss Anna She was striking strong poses with our little stars and making everyone feel like a superstar! 💪✨
Showtime! Parents in the Crowd 💕
Then came the moment! Parents came filling the room, phones ready, big smiles everywhere.
It’s always the best part: watching the kids light up when they see their parents watching. Some danced like no one was watching, while others got a little shy (but super proud!).
Either way, it was a heartwarming moment that makes what we do so special!
Our after-school dance classes in Redondo Beach are more than just steps and music, they’re about giving kids a space to grow, express themselves, and just be their fun, funky selves!
Tape Cleanup & More Giggles 🎉
After the show, it was time to clean up!
Miss Courtney was back at it, picking up long strips of used tape with the kids to help them be cooperative and have care to the our mother nature!
Even though this wasn’t the “final show,” it was a little reminder of how far the kids have come, and how dance class is one big journey full of fun, confidence, and creativity.
We love every moment of being part of their dance story, from the first nervous step to the proud smiles when the music starts. And we can’t wait to do it all again soon!
