Nickelodeon KIDS CHOICE AWARDS WELCOME PARTY
Funky Divas & Dudes Rocked the Floor at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards Welcome Party 7 years in a row! These funky dance instructors in Los Angeles worked the dance floor by teaching the crowd the latest and greatest dance moves for kids! They hyped them up, breakdanced, freestyled, and lead group dances. They even got to bring some FD&D students along! DJ Boogie, who spun the crazy tunes, said he had never seen a team like Funky Divas & Dudes, whose energy pumped up the crowd and electrified the dance floor for the entire 4 hours of the party!

Duran Duran and Funky Divas & Dudes

on stage with the popular 80’s iconic pop band Duran Duran as they performed their many hits at the Brentwood School fundraiser, Brentwood
Live. Funky Divas & Dudes donated their time to this event, teaching a dance routine to the kids!

Nickelodeon KCA Dance Classes with the Funky Divas & Dudes
Funky Divas & Dudes ran a Twister Rave Dance Class with LED Light Up Hoops at the Annenberg Beach Pool Club in Santa Monica for the kids attending the 2013 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. They taught a fun kids’ dance routine to the Winner of this year’s KCA, “What Makes You Beautiful” by One Direction.
Funky Divas & Dudes also taught a Sketchers Rock Ballet Dance Class on the beach in Santa Monica at the Shutters Hotel. Here, the guests of the Nickelodeon awards show danced and got decked out like rockstars in the Nickelodeon Kids Lounge that had a wild hair salon just for kids, glitter tattoos, manicure parlor, a giant arcade, arts and crafts, a bling salon, kid-friendly food, and giant TV screens!
Funky Divas Rocked the Hamptons
Super Saturday in the Hamptons was to benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund With Kelly Ripa & Blake Lively. Hosted by Donna Karan,
Ariel Foxman & InStyle. FD&D taught dance routines to the kids who attended the event.
80’s Party Styling in Hollywood by Funky Divas & Dudes
FD&D have perfected the kids' party entertainment experience in Los Angeles by offering high-energy, engaging, and custom themed events. They threw an 80’s themed 50th birthday party at Hollywood’s rock club The Bourbon Room, inspired by the Broadway Show Rock of Ages! FD&D provided themed décor, a personalized Step and Repeat, Red Carpet and Photo Booth, personalized party favors, a Polaroid guest book to capture party memories, a custom slideshow, and of course, a professional emcee and DJ for hire in Los Angeles.
Owner of the Bourbon Room, Hillary Weaver, explained: “My daughters took Funky Divas & Dudes dance classes for years and we could not be more excited. I know they will bring tremendous fun and professionalism to our event experiences.”
